Visit the world renowned Cradle of Humankind and world heritage site on this full day tour. The cradle of humankind is situated 50 km from Johannesburg, South Africa. It contains a complex of limestone caves, including the Sterkfontein Caves, where the 2.3-million year-old fossil Australopithecus africanus(nicknamed "Mrs Ples") was found in 1947 by Dr Robert Broom. Maropeng - The Maropeng Visitor Centre is an exciting, world-class exhibition, focusing on the development of humans and our ancestors over the past few million years. On arrival, you will see a massive burial mound called the Tumulus, which is your entrance to learning the secrets of our ancestry.

Sterkfontein Caves - Within the caves, scientists have discovered many hominid and other animal fossils, dating back more than 4-million years, to the birth of humanity. The most important and most famous of these fossils are “Mrs Ples”, a 2.3-million-year-old Australopithecus skull, and “Little Foot”, an almost complete Australopithecus skeleton that is more than 3-million years old. These fossils, both found in the Sterkfontein Caves in the Cradle of Humankind, tell us much about the precursors of modern humans, Homo sapiens.

Rhino and Lion Park - This reserve is home to White Rhinoceros, Lion, Wild Dogs, Cheetah, Steenbuck, Springbuck, Hippopotamus, Black Backed Jackal, Suricate, Warthog, Common Waterbuck, Zebra, Cape Buffalo, Siberian Tiger, Bengal Tiger, White Tiger, White Lion, Blue and Black Wildebeest, Eland Impala, Blesbuck and various other animals and bird life from South Africa. Situated next to the Rhino and Lion Park is the Wonder Cave. This cave boast an enormous single chamber and one has to enter it by means of a lift.

Pilanesberg Game Reserve Safari/Tour

Experience big 5 country, only 2 hours from johannesburg. Let us take you on our special Pilanesberg Safaris. Pilanesberg National Park is a 55000 hectare game reserve, situated in a 1200 million year old volcano. The beauty of Pilanesberg is reflected in a large central lake, the Mankwe Dam. Today, Pilanesberg Game Reserve accommodates almost every mammal of southern Africa, including the big five. The Bird life diversity is excellent, with over 360 species having been recorded. Rhino and Lion Park Tour - "The nearest faraway place"

Excellent game viewing opportunities are offered on our Rhino and Lion Park Tour. The Rhino and Lion nature reserve is situated within the cradle of humankind, a world heritage site. This reserve is conveniently situated to Johannesburg and Pretoria. Therefore making it easy for pickup from either of these two locations. This is typical highveld area consisting of the grassland biome. Various successful breeding programs for white rhino, bengal and siberian tigers and the beautiful and fascinating white lions are undertaken here. Due to its popularity it quickly became one of the "top 5" tourist destinations in Gauteng. The reserve started in 1985 and is approximately 1200 hectares in size.

The management of the reserve were still not satisfied and hence the re-introduction of warthog, after a long absence from the Gauteng highveld, was successfully implemented. A natural development was the establishment of a vulture restaurant which caters for the groups of these magnificent birds which live in the nearby Magaliesberg. Through the generosity of the general public and farmers, who donate carcasses to the reserve on a regular basis, this venture has proven highly successful. Often one can view as many as 200 birds feasting at the reserve.

Animals that are home to this reserve are White Rhinoceros, Lion, Wild Dogs, Cheetah, Steenbuck, Springbuck, Hippopotamus, Black Backed Jackal, Suricate, Warthog, Common Waterbuck, Zebra, Cape Buffalo, Siberian Tiger, Bengal Tiger, White Tiger, White Lion, Blue wilebeest, Black Wildebeest, Eland, Impala, Blesbuck, various other and bird life.
